Lubrication and Maintenance
wHEEL BEARINGS
All wheel bearings should be repacked annually and checked for wear. This applies to all drive wheels and marker hubs.
To check for wear, raise the wheel off the ground. Check for endplay in the bearings by moving the tire in and out. Rotate
the tire to check for roughness in the bearings. If bearings sound rough, the hub should be removed and the bearings
inspected and replace if necessary. See “Wheel Bearing Lubrication Or Replacement”.
To repack wheel hubs, follow the procedure outlined for wheel bearing replacement with the exception that bearings and
bearing cups are reused.
