7 Data transfer to device
h Call up “View according to device”.
h Select the device for which you want to create a device rights file.
h Press the button “Create device rights file”.
After the target drive has been selected (the one for the CompactFlash
memory card), the device rights file is created. This can then be read into the
device by using the device software (menu CompactFlash card).

h In the start menu, select the CompactFlash card menu.
h In the CompactFlash card menu, select the function
CF card ➔ User list.
h Start read-in of user list with

Only one device rights file can be stored on a CompactFlash card,
since the file always has the same name.
So there is no selection dialog in the recorder (to choose a file).

In order to read a new user list into the device through the
CompactFlash card, the logged-in user must have the right
“Security - administer user”.
