The battery charge status is shown in the start dis-
play of the seTTings menu item.

if “battery Weak” appears in the display, purchase a
standard
cr2430 round cell battery made by Varta,
sony or Renata, as recommended by eberspächer,
and insert it in the mobile unit.

battery adequate
battery weak
Change battery soon.
battery dead. Change immediately!
rEplaciNg thE battEry
ƒ Open the battery compartment.
With your thumb in the position show, push down
on the battery compartment cover and then push it
towards the front.
ƒ Remove dead battery.
ƒ insert new battery.
The battery has been correctly inserted if the plus
pole symbol and the type designation of the bat-
tery can be read.
ƒ position the battery compartment cover and then
push it towards the back until it latches into place.
ƒ Activate the mobile unit ( see page 7 ).
