Process Value (PV) The actual temperature of the furnace or oven. °C
Setpoint (SP) The target temperature the furnace is trying to reach. °C
Program Setpoint (PSP)
The target temperature the furnace is trying to reach, set
by the program.

Ramp Rate
The speed at which the furnace or oven is allowed to
heat up or cool down.

Element The heating device used in the furnace. -
Thermocouple
The temperature-measuring device used in the furnace
or oven.

PID
Proportional Integral Derivative: the control system used
by the controller.

Program
A sequence of stored Parameters set by the operator,
which will run automatically when started.

Power Cycling
The Power to the controller is turned off and then back
on.

Home Display The first level of any operative mode -
