Advanced – Expansion:
Expansion allows the adding of extra drives to an array with the need to rebuild the array. This process can be performed
online without the need to stop data transferring.
1. To expand the capacity for the product, select the drives from the icons.
2. Select the number of drives to be added to the array.
3. Check
the
Confirm box, and Click the Expand Array to complete the process. (Due to the continuous re-calculation
of each block added, this process will take extremely long time)
