MXL connection with the ECU is made through the OBDII diagnosis plug placed under the steering
wheel column as pointed out here below on the left. The image on the right shows the OBDII plug
where the dedicated connector of Subaru interface wiring is to be plugged in.
The image here below shows the Subaru interface wiring connector plugged in the OBDII plug.
Now the system is powered and connected to the vehicle. It is only necessary to make MXL receive
data from the ECU: connect the free cables of the interface cable as follows:

cable labelled RS232TX of Subaru interface wiring to cable labelled RS232RX of MXL Pro/Pro05
wiring;
•
cable labelled RS232RX of Subaru interface wiring to cable labelled RS232TX of MXL Pro/Pro05
wiring;
