SECTION 5 - EMERGENCY PROCEDURES

For right side (operator's perspective) Outrigger
and Track Functions:
3. Install the pump handle on the pump (item 1 - Figure 5-
4.) and secure in place with the provided screw. The
diverter valve lever (item 2 - Figure 5-4.) on the pump
must be set to the right facing the pump.
4. Locate the proportional flow valve on the right side of
the chassis attached to the group of three valves (item 1
- Figure 5-5.). Turn the black knob on the valve clock-
wise (tighten) until it stops.
5. With the aid of an assistant, activate the button in the
desired direction on the appropriate valve solenoid
(valve description below) while pumping the pump han-
dle to achieve the desired function movement.
NOTE: If no assistant is available, the black thumbscrews on
the solenoids may be unscrewed to allow installation
of the valve tool on the solenoids.
• 1st valve (item 2 - Figure 5-5.) far right (toward rear of
machine in the group of three) operates Right Rear
Outrigger.
• 2nd valve (item 3 - Figure 5-5.) from the right (in the
group of three) operates Right Front Outrigger.
• 3rd valve (item 4 - Figure 5-5.) from the right (in the
group of three) operates the Right Track Drive func-
tions.
For left side (operator's perspective) Outrigger and
Track Functions
6. Locate the proportional flow valve on the left side of the
chassis attached to the group of three valves (item 5 -
Figure 5-5.). Install the black valve adjustment tool on
the diverter soleniod. Turn the black knob on the valve
clockwise (tighten) until it stops.
7. The diverter valve lever (item 2 - Figure 5-4.) on the hand
pump must be set to the left to manually operate outrig-
ger and track functions.
8. With the aid of an assistant, activate the button in the
desired direction on the appropriate valve solenoid
while pumping the handle to achieve the desired func-
tion movement.
NOTE: If no assistant is available, the black thumbscrews on
the solenoids may be unscrewed to allow installation
of a second valve tool on the solenoids.
• 1st valve (item 6 - Figure 5-5.) far right (in the left side
group of three) operates Left Front Outrigger.
• 2nd valve (item 7 - Figure 5-5.) from the right (in the
left side group of three) operates Left Rear Outrigger.
• 3rd valve (item 8 - Figure 5-5.) from the right (in the left
side group) operates the Left Track Drive functions.
