Cleaning Surfaces
Clean the exterior surfaces of the unit with a damp cloth. You may also use any standard
household or laboratory cleaner. Do not use abrasive or corrosive compounds, as they
may damage the unit and void the warranty.
The water bath should be drained and flushed on a weekly basis to prevent mineral
deposits from building up on the inside surface of the bath. Mild household or laboratory
detergent can be used in the bath. A plastic scouring pad such as “Scotchbrite” may be
used to remove any buildups or deposits. This can also be used to remove scratches from
the stainless steel surfaces of the bath.
NOTE:
To minimize the development of rust inside the water bath, do not use steel
wool or other abrasive pads to clean the stainless steel bath.
