D A N G E R
A loose TB126J can cause death or serious
injury. Do not attach tie downs to the steering
tie rods. The tie rods are not strong enough
to safely hold a TB126J.
12. Attach chains to the front (19) and back (20) tie-
down lugs. Chocks may be removed at this time,
though it is a good idea to leave them in place.

13. Use rubber straps (21), as shown, to keep
the rear cowling doors (22) from opening during
transport.

14. Hook a long rubber strap (23) through the
hole (24) in the inside of one of the front cowling
doors (25).
15. Stretch the rubber strap (23) under the
turntable (26) to a similar hole in the opposite
front cowling door. (This prevents the front doors
from opening during transport.) Fasten the
engine compartment door with a similar strap
(27).
16. Use wire-ties, as shown, to keep the foot
switch and gravity gate from bouncing around.
D A N G E R
Death or serious injury can result from falling
from the platform. Do not work from a TB126J
that has the platform slid to the side or that
has the over-center hook latches open. The
platform should only be slid to the side to
save space during transportation.
Reverse the above procedure after transporting.
Be certain to latch the over-center hook latches
before driving the TB126J off the trailer.

Y Towing
Do not tow a TB126J unless it is equipped with
the optional tow package. See the “OPTIONS”
chapter.
