1. Check to be sure the Battery switch ƒ is ON.
(See Figure 9.4)

3. Check to be sure the Main Power switch …
is on (see Figure 9.5).
4. Check to be sure the Selector switch † is set
to platform (up) (see Figure 9.5).
5. If the Battery Switch ƒ (see Figure 9.4),

† (see Figure 9.5) are all
set correctly, and the engine will not start
from the platform control box, set the
Selector switch
† to ground (down) and try to
lower the platform from the ground control
box.
Pinching And Crushing Hazard. At the next step
the platform will come down and the scissor
arms will close. Keep all body parts out of the
scissor arms and out from under the platform.

6. If the platform will not lower, the person on
the ground will need to use the manual bleed
down
‡ (see Figure 9.6) located at the front
of the chassis.To lower the platform pull on
the cable
‡) until the platform is fully lowered.
NOTE
If the platform does not come down, refer the
problem to a qualified trained service technician.
n Pushing / Towing
An SR can be safely pushed or towed by hand on
level firm sur faces. To do so:
