1 Raised Pillow Mount Bracket #BLTJ97PBB Steering Pillow Block, Figure 1
The factory steering guide bracket needs to be raised when installing a 1” Body lift . M.O.R.E.™ Has a new
raised bracket that will do just this. The guide bracket is located in the engine compartment, between the
steering column and the steering box. Remove the bolt that attaches the upper u-joint to the intermediate
shaft, See Figure 2. Remove the bolts that attach the OEM bracket to the frame and steering shaft bearing
and remove the bracket. Bolt the M.O.R.E.™ Raised bracket to the frame re-using the factory bolts. Re-
attach the steering shaft pillow block to the new bracket using the factory nuts. See figures 3 & 4. Reattach
the steering shafts that were separated using the factory bolt. GO JEEPIN!
