Using One Tap
The One Tap and Editor packages give you quick access to
any applications, preferences, formulas, keyboards, and
special characters you choose, from anywhere in your
Newton device. You can also get access to some commands.
For example, the New Item button lets you add a new item
to the Notepad, Name File, or To Do List with one tap.
Installation notes
You should install the One Tap package into your Newton
device’s internal memory, so it will be available even when
you remove your storage card. You can install the Editor
package either on a storage card or in internal memory.
Creating a One Tap bar
1 Tap Extras ´ to open the Extras Drawer, then tap Editor.
2 Tap a section in the list to go to it.
You can use the arrows ˛ at the bottom of the screen to
move through the sections. Tap the Overview button to go
back to the list.
