Removing a package
To remove a package, select it and tap the Action button µ,
then tap “Remove package” in the list. A message appears
asking you to confirm your action. Tap OK.
You can also remove a package by scrubbing out its name in
the package area.
You cannot remove Software Manager itself in this way. To
remove Software Manager, use the Remove Software
command in the Memory section of Prefs π or in the Card
area B. See the documentation that came with your Newton
device for more information.
Important
Once you remove a package, the only way to
restore it is to reinstall the package from your personal
computer or to restore the Newton device’s information
from a backup on your computer or your storage card.
