ORU- GM 4 Link Coil-Over Conversion Kit #60013

INSTALLATION NOTES:

Inspect the contents of the kit and read the entire instructions before proceeding.

We recommend this installation be performed by a qualified technician.

We recommend using a circuit protector when welding on vehicle.

Torque all hardware to factory specifications.

We recommend using red Loctite on all bolts.

When removing wheels, support vehicle with jack stands.

Use only factory approved fluids.

Although many installation photos depict unfinished metal parts for contrast purposes, the ORU
kit comes in a black powder coat finish.

A new CV Style front driveshaft is required (1310 cv to 1350 u-joint, 35-1/2” center to center).

The factory rear driveshaft will need to be lengthened.

Installation of this kit requires some welding (frame filler plates & rear shock axle tabs). We
recommend any welding be done by a qualified welder.

For front slip yoke eliminator installation, the transfer case front output needs to be re-machined
for proper clearances. See instructions for spec sheet of dimensions. This should be done by a
qualified machine shop.

Installation of this kit will move the front axle center 2" forward.

Recommended tire size for this kit is 37-40" diameter x 13.5" width, on a 9-10" wide wheel for
best function and clearance.

The windshield washer fluid bottle will need to be relocated to a position in front of the radiator on
the driver side for tire clearance.

Some trimming is required for tire clearance on the front bumper and the front & rear of the rear
wheel well. Cutting templates for the front bumper are included with the instructions. Due to
variances, examples of the rear cutting are also shown, but no templates are included.

To eliminate ABS light activation and correct for tire size, a programmer will be required.

When installing after market wheels, be sure to purchase new valve stems to re-use the factory
tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) sensors.

Part One: Disassembly-

1) Block the rear wheels. Raise the front of the vehicle and support the frame with jack stands behind the
rear wheels. We recommend first removing the transfer case to complete the modifications (steps #55-62)
prior to proceeding with the rest of the installation (this MUST be done prior to proceeding with step #17!)
