Timer 25
• Once set the timer is always on
until canceled.
• If no button is pressed for 90
seconds, the system automati-
cally exits the clock setting
mode.
Helpful Hints
S ETTING T HE T IMER
1 Press and hold CLOCK•TIMER on the system. “AM
12:00” or “00:00” or the last timer setting blinks to indicate
timer setting mode is active. Timer
also blinks.
2 Prepare the source you want
the timer to activate.
● For CD, load the disc(s). To play a specific track, create
a program. See page 16.
● For TUNER, tune to the desired radio station.
● For TAPE, load the cassette into tape deck 2.
2 Press CD, TUNER, or TAPE to select the desired
source. The selected source light up while the other avail-
able source flash.
3 Press
1 or ¡ to set the hour.
4 Press
w or ∑ to set the minute.
5 Press CLOCK•TIMER to save the setting. “TIMER
ON” appears followed by the selected time and source.
TIMER
remains on the display.
6 Press STOP
7 to exit with saving the setting.
When the Timer is on, the system will turn on and begin playback at a
preset time. The volume will begin at the minimum level and slowly
increase to the last selected level.
A CTIVATING T HE T IMER
1 Press TIMER ON/OFF on the remote control to
cancel or activate the timer. “CANCEL” appears and
TIMER
disappears. If you activated the timer, the last
timer information displays and TIMER remains on the
display.
