• Place a container under the steam spout.
• (Fig.5 - 6) Open the knob (4) and press the button (17) to
remove at intervals (one cup at a time) all the descaling
solution.
To stop dispensing, press the button (17) and close the
knob (4).
• (Fig.3) - During each interval disconnect the machine
by pressing the ON/OFF button (2) in order to let the
descaling solution take effect for about 10-15 minutes.
Empty the container.
• (Fig.1 - 2) - When the descaling solution is fi nished,
remove the water tank, rinse it and fi ll it with fresh drinking
water.
• (Fig.4) - Reinsert the tank into the machine.
• (Fig.3; Fig.5) - Open the knob (4) and press the button
(17) to empty 2/3 of the water. Press the button (17) and
close the steam knob (4) to stop dispensing.
• Let the machine warm up and empty the water tank as
described above.
• Install the cappuccinatore again.
- Insert the cappuccinatore coupling from steam spout
completely.
- Tighten the ring nut securely.
Saeco descaling solution should be disposed of
according to the manufacturer instructions and/
or the regulations in the country of use.
12 DISPOSAL
• Put unused appliances out of service.
• Disconnect the plug from the socket and cut the electrical
cord.
• At the end of its life, take the appliance to a suitable waste
collection site.
This product complies with EU Directive 2002/96/EC.
The symbol on the product or on its packaging
indicates that this product may not be treated as
household waste. Instead it shall be handed over to the
applicable collection point for the recycling of electrical
and electronic equipment.
