Using the directory
You can store up to 100 entries in the handset directory.
Each entry contains a name and number. Names can be
up to 12 characters long and numbers up to 20 digits.
Add a new directory entry
1. From standby, select Dir to open the directory.
If there are already entries stored the first entry is shown.
Select
Options , New Entry is displayed. Select OK .
If the directory is empty, Enter Name is displayed.
Select OK .
2. Enter Name is displayed. Enter a name using the keypad.
Then select Save . See the following page for help on how
to enter names in the directory.
3. Enter Number is displayed. Enter the telephone number.
If you subscribe to your network’s Caller Display service
and want names in your directory displayed instead of
the phone numbers, you must store the full telephone
number including the area code.
4. Select Save . The displays shows Entry Saved , then the
new added entry.
5. Add more entries or press to exit.

Directory full
If the directory is full when you try
to add or copy an entry, the
display will show Directory Full.
If you make a mistake, select Clear
to delete digits.
