How to access the Scanner

Open the software application (ScanSoft ® PaperPort ® ) to scan
a document.

Select Scan from the File drop-down menu or select the Scan
button.

Select Brother DCP-8025D (if using a parallel interface),
Brother DCP-8025D USB or Brother DCP-8025D LAN from
the Scanner drop-down list box.

Click Scan.
If the DCP is connected via:
Parallel —use ‘ Brother DCP-8025D ’
USB —use ‘ Brother DCP-8025D USB ’
LAN —use ‘ Brother DCP-8025D LAN ’
The Brother DCP-8025D, Brother DCP-8025D USB or Brother
DCP-8025D LAN Scanner Setup dialog box will appear:
