To use voice commands
during playback
Providing you have switched
voice commands on (page 69),
a user who has pre-recorded
their commands (page 69) can
control playback by giving
one-word commands.
Press the ENVELOPE button.
Press DOWN until the display
shows, e.g. Answering Mach.
01+04 or Mailbox 1, 2 or 3 .
Press RIGHT to begin playback.
(Press RIGHT again to pause
playback.)
During playback:
Press and hold UP. After the
beep speak your command.
‘Back’ to repeat the message.
‘Forward’ to play the next
message.
‘Delete’ to delete the current
message. You are asked to say
‘Delete’
again to confirm.
Press and hold the RED
PHONE to return to the idle
screen.
To change a User name
You can give each user a
name, John, Suzy etc. so you
know who has recorded voice
commands.
Press the RIGHT button.
Press DOWN to scroll to
Voice Mail .
Press OK.
Press DOWN to scroll to
Voice Prompts .
Press OK. Display shows
Record Command .
Press OK to open the Select
User list .
Press DOWN if necessary to
scroll to the user you want.
Press the EDIT button.
Enter the user name you want.
Press ᮤ C to delete any
characters.
Press SAVE to confirm.
Press and hold the RED
PHONE to return to the idle
screen.
