Power Unit Features
All MUM 6Nxx power units have the
following features, refer to figure 2:
800Ćwatt motor
Handles up to 12-14 lbs of dough.
Heavy duty construction to give unsur
passed durability.
Electronic speed control
SixĆposition rotary switch (figure 2a) is
located at the front of the power unit:
4 speeds plus a momentary pulse"
function and a stop position O/Off,"
see figure 2a.
Convenient cord storage
Convenient cord storage is located on the
back of the power unit, see 2b.
Dual drives
The Universal Kitchen Machines come
with two drives:
1. A highĆspeed drive directly coupled to
the motor, used to drive the blender.
See figure 2c.
2. A highĆtorque drive used to drive the
stirring/beating whisks and the dough
hook. See figure 2d.
Motor drive cover
Used to cover drive that is not in use,
see figure 2c/d.
Attention:
It is imperative to cover the
highĆspeed drive if you do not use the
blender. If the cover is not in place,
the motor will not start!
