The following figure shows the underside of the computer. Make sure the
display is closed before turning over your computer.

Battery Battery Latch
Expansion Memory Socket Battery Double Lock
Battery This is the battery pack, which powers the
computer when the AC adaptor is not connected.
For detailed information on the battery pack, refer
to Chapter 6, Power and Power-Up Modes.
Expansion Memory
Socket
Use this socket to install a memory module to
increase your computer's memory. Refer to the
Memory Expansion section in Chapter 7,
Optional Devices.
Battery Double Lock When you slide this latch into the 'lock' position,
the battery cannot be released even if you
release the battery latch.
Battery Latch Slide this latch to remove the battery pack.
