Symptom Probable cause Action
Nothing appears on the
display
The battery power is low. Charge the battery.
The recorder is turned off. Turn the power on.
The recorder is currently in Power Save
mode.
Press any button.
Unable to use any buttons The recorder is in HOLD mode. Release the recorder from HOLD.
Unable to record
The card does not have enough memory.
Erase unnecessary files or insert another
card.
The card is unformatted. Format the card.
The maximum number of files has been
reached.
Change to any other folder.
The file is locked. Unlock the file from the file menu.
The SD card is locked. Unlock the SD card.
No playback tone heard
The earphone is connected.
Unplug the earphones to use the internal
speaker.
The volume level is set to [ 00 ]. Adjust the volume level.
