3.19 Function Access Restriction File Settings
Register a device in a function access restriction file. Use of a function ac-
cess restriction file means that some device functions (address settings, etc.)
can be configured without the input of an administrator password.
Create a New Function Access Restriction File

From the Tool menu, select Function access restriction — New .The
Edit function access restriction file screen is displayed.
– Add: Add a device to a function access restriction file. Refer to “Add
a Device to a Function Access Restriction File” on page 3-105 for
details.
– Edit: Edit devices registered in a function access restriction file. Re-
fer to “Edit Devices Registered in a Function Access Restriction
File” on page 3-106 for details.
– Delete: Delete devices registered in a function access restriction
file. Select devices registered in a function access restriction file to
delete from the list, and click
Delete .
– Select: Add a device registered in the device list to the function ac-
cess restriction file. Refer to “Add a Device from the Device List to
a Function Access Restriction File” on page 3-107 for details.
– Name and save: Save the function access restriction file.
