Clearing paper misfeeds (main unit)
The following procedure describes how to clear paper misfeeds that have occurred in the ADF, upper right-
side door or paper tray.
*The illustration above shows the main unit with the optional ADF, duplex unit, bypass tray, additional paper
feed cabinet and double paper feed cabinet installed.
7 CAUTION
The area around the fusing unit is extremely hot.

Touching anything other than the indicated levers and dials may result in burns. If you get burnt,
immediately cool the skin under cold water, and then seek professional medical attention.
