SSL Setting section
•
SSL Enabled/Disabled
:
To use SSL to transmit between the server and
client, select
Enabled
. To transmit without
using SSL, select
Disabled
.
In order for the specified settings to be
applied, the PageScope Net Care server must
be restarted. (Refer to “2.5 Restarting the
Server” (p. 10).)

Certificate
: Click
the
Information
button to display
information on the server certificate used
when requesting SSL transmission from an
external certification authority.

Click the
Apply
button. To cancel the operation, click the
Cancel
button instead.
To configure SSL transmission settings
In order to perform SSL transmissions, communication between the
PageScope Net Care server and clients must be encoded.
1.
Make sure that
SSL Enabled/Disabled
in the
SSL Setting
section
is set to
Enabled
(as described in “6.14 Specifying Security
Settings for PageScope Net Care” (p. 76)).
2.
Restart the PageScope Net Care server. (Refer to “2.5 Restarting
the Server” (p. 10).)
3.
Use “https://<
server_name
>:<
port_number
>/” to start the client.
