10 Obtaining and Viewing Device Counter
Information
PageScope Net Care server maintains the counter information that is
obtained from each device.
The user can view the counter information for each device.
The counter information includes the total count, and the number of
sheets used for each paper size, for each account name (or account
code), and for each user. Since the PageScope Net Care server stores
this information and the user can easily manage the operating status of
any device at any time, the administrator of the device no longer needs
to use this function to constantly check the counter information.
Note
Important!
• The user count is available only for models that support user
authentication.
• Devices compatible with this function appear in the Device List
of “10.6 Registering Devices Using This Function With the
PageScope Net Care Server (This procedure is performed from
the PageScope Net Care server.)” (p. 126).
• Before this function can be used with the devices listed below,
the e-mail settings must be specified. See “6.12 Specifying E-
Mail Transmission/Reception Settings” (p. 63).

• Before this function can be used with devices other than those
listed above, the FTP Server function must be enabled from the
device.
• In order to obtain and view account counter information, the
Copy Track function of a device must be enabled.
• In order to obtain and view user counter information, the User
Authentication function of a device must be enabled.
