To encrypt image data
Image data saved in boxes on the hard disk can be encrypted.
This can be specified only when the hard disk drive and security kit are in-
stalled.
The setting for “Image Data Encryption Key” must be specified by the ma-
chine’s administrator.

In the Administrator Setting screen, touch [Security Setting].

In the Security Setting screen, touch [6 HDD Setting].

In the HDD Setting screen, touch [6 HDD Encryption Setting].

In the HDD Encryption Setting screen, touch [1 Image Data Encryption
Key].
– [Image Data Encryption Key] appears when the hard disk drive and
security kit SC-501 (both optional) are installed.

In the screen confirming whether or not to specify an encryption key,
touch [Yes].
The Register Image Data Encryption Key screen appears.
