5. If a tool for removing connectors is included in the package with the new card, use the tool to disconnect
the cables from the card that is currently installed 3 . If no such a tool is included, disconnect the
cables by picking up the connectors with your fingers and gently unplugging them. Then remove
the screw
4 and the card pops up.

6. Remove the card.

7. Insert the new PCI Express Mini Card into the slot at an angle about 20 degrees until it snaps into
place. Carefully pivot the card downward until it snaps into place. Then, install the screw to secure the
new card.
8. Connect the antenna cables to the new PCI Express Mini Card. Ensure that you connect the gray
cable to the connector on the card marked with “MAIN” or “M”, and connect the black cable to the
connector marked with “AUX” or “A”.
