Two breaker alarm indicators (red LED) are provided on the front side of the panel. A separate
breaker alarm indicator is provided for each of the two power output buses (A and B). The
breaker alarm indicator turns on if any circuit breaker on the corresponding power bus trips.
The breaker alarm indicator turns off when the tripped breaker is placed in the on position. The
breaker alarm indicators cannot be field-replaced.
1.15 Cooling
The Select Series circuit breaker panel relies on convection air flow for cooling. Holes are
provided on the top and bottom of the panel to allow heated air to escape from the panel and
cool air to enter. At least one rack unit of space must be provided above and below the panel to
allow for air circulation.
