New Grid
Open up the New Grid box and choose various parameters for
the grid

Edit Grid
Open the selected grid file in the Grid Editor

Delete Grid
Remove the currently selected grid file from the grid files folder

Browse Grid Files
Open the grid files folder in the Windows Explorer; useful for
importing multiple files

Generate Grid from
Warp
Create a grid file from the warp file currently selected

Clear All Warps
Delete all .twf files from the warp files folder

Browse Warp Files
Open the warp files folder in the Windows Explorer; useful for
importing multiple files

Import Warp File
Import a single .twf file into the warp files folder

Upload Warp To Unit Upload the selected warp file to the selected warp map slot on

Download Warp
From Unit
Download the warp files stored in the active warp map slot of

VP-790 into the local warp files folder

Test Pattern On
Set the
VP-790 to display an internally generated test pattern
instead of a video signal to aid in warp creation

Test Pattern Off
Switch off the internal test pattern.
The video signal previously selected is shown again

Download/Upload To
Slot X
Used to select which warp map slot (1-8) on the
VP-790 that
the current warp file will be uploaded to or downloaded from

Warp Off
Deactivate the warp engine of the
VP-790. The warp map from
the active slot is disabled so the video image becomes regular

Warp On
Activate the warp engine of the
VP-790. The video image
becomes distorted according to the currently selected warp
map

Display the history of the message box

Grid Tools
The grid tool windows, Grid Designer and Evaluator Control appear when creating
or editing a warp map and are used to adjust the warp map to fit the screen’s
irregular surface.
