Predefined templates
The predefined templates can be used as a basis for user-defined templates, however; the
predefined templates cannot be modified.

User defined templates
The VPNmanager firewall templates can be used as a general rule set or as a starting point for
creating a customized firewall policy, or user-defined template, that conforms to the corporate
security requirements. The template rules are enforced on the public interface (the interface
through which the security gateway directly connects to the outside world).
To create a user-defined firewall template:
1. Move to the Configuration Console window.
2. From the Objects column, select Firewall Template.
3. Click New Object to start the New Firewall Template wizard.
4. In the Name text box, type in a name for your new firewall template.
