Pressing on an “Empty” or “None” Key Sets a New Speeddial Key
(53i, 55i)

On the 53i and 55i, if you try to edit a programmable key set to “Empty” or
“None”, the phone proceeds to enter the “Add a Speeddial Key” process. This is
also true for the keys on expansion modules. Likewise, if you press a
press-and-hold digit key on the keypad to attempt editing, the “Add a Speeddial
Key” process initiates. The phone allows you to setup a speeddial key on the key
that you pressed.

Note:

This feature is applicable only to the programmable keys, the keys

on expansion modules attached to the 53i and 55i, and the press-and-hold
digits on the keypad.
