Chapter 3: BIOS setup

iGPU Frame Buffer Control [Auto]

Allows you to set the onboard GPU frame buffer control mode.

Configuration options: [Auto] [Manual]

Frame Buffer Size [128M]

This item becomes user-configurable when you set the iGPU Frame Buffer

Control item to [Manual] and allows you to set frame buffer size for onboard GPU.

Configuration options: [64M] [128M] [256M] [512M]

The configuration options for this item vary depending on the total memory size

you install on the motherboard.

Onboard GPU [Auto]

Allows you to enable or disable the onboard GPU. Set this item to [Auto] to disable

the onboard GPU if the system detects any external graphics card. Set this item

to [Always Enable] to enable the onboard GPU even if the system detects any

external graphics card.

Configuration options: [Auto] [Always Enable]

K8<->NB HT Speed [Auto]

Allows you to set the HyperTransport speed between the CPU and the

Northbridge.

Configuration options: [Auto] [200 MHz] [400 MHz] [600 MHz].[800 MHz] [1 GHz]

[1.2 GHz] [1.4 GHz] [1.6 GHz] [1.8 GHz] [2 GHz] [2.2 GHz] [2.4 GHz] [2.6 GHz]

Allows you to set the HyperTransport width between the CPU and the Northbridge..

CPU Spread Spectrum [Disabled]

Set to [Disabled] to enhance FSB overclocking ability or [Enabled] for EMI control.

PCIE Spread Spectrum [Disabled]

Set to [Disabled] to enhance PCIE overclocking ability or [Down Spread] for EMI

control.

Configuration options: [Disabled] [Down Spread]

SATA Spread Spectrum [Disabled]

Allows you to adjust the SATA spread spectrum setting.

Configuration options: [Disabled] [Down Spread]

Primary Display Adapter [PCI-E]

Allows you to select which graphics controller to use as the primary boot device.
