Button to Turn On the Camera
When the camera is off, holding down the
c button will turn the camera on in playback mode. The
lens will not extend.

Viewing Pictures
• When pictures in which a face was recognized during shooting (
A 46) are displayed in full-frame
playback, depending upon the orientation of the recognized face, the pictures may be
automatically rotated for playback display except pictures taken with Continuous, BSS, and
Multi-shot 16 setting (
• When the monitor has turned off in standby mode to save power, press the following button to
reactivate it (

Deleting the Last Picture Taken While in
Shooting Mode
In shooting mode, press the
l button to delete the last picture
taken.

Deleting Multiple Pictures
Multiple pictures can be deleted from the Delete option (
A 92) in the playback menu (A 86), the
list by date menu (
A 85), the auto sort menu (A 82), or the favorite pictures menu (A 77).
