Notes About AF Area Mode
• When the digital zoom is in effect, the camera focuses on the subject in the center of the frame
regardless of the applied AF area mode option.
• In some rare cases of shooting subjects for which autofocus does not perform as expected
(
A 72), the subject may not be in focus.
• Some settings cannot be used with other functions (A 65).
• When target finding AF is selected and the camera does not focus on the desired subject, set
AF area mode to Center. You can also use focus lock (
A 71) and try shooting again.
