Lithium Battery
" The battery in the bq4830 device is encapsulated and not user-replaceable.
Warning
There is a danger of explosion if the battery is incorrectly replaced.
" Dispose of used batteries according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
— Do not dispose of the batteries in water, or by fire.
— Disposal requirements vary by country and by state.
— Lithium batteries are not listed by the Environmental Protection
Agency (EPA) as a hazardous waste. Therefore, they can typically be
disposed of as normal waste.
— If you are disposing of large quantities, contact a local waste-
management service.
" No hazardous compounds are used within the battery module.
" The weight of the lithium contained in each coin cell is approximately 0.035
grams.
" Two types of batteries are used interchangeably:
— CR chemistry uses manganese dioxide as the cathode material.
— BR chemistry uses poly-carbonmonofluoride as the cathode material.
