How can I uninstall an application?

On the desktop, open the Charms and select the Settings
charm.

Select Control Panel → Programs → Uninstall a program →
an application → Uninstall.
Alternatively, right-click the Start button, and the select
Programs and Features.
Select an application to uninstall
→ uninstall.
My application disappeared from the Start screen.
How can I correct this?
Touch screen:

On the Start screen, swipe upward.

All installed applications will appear.

Touch and hold an application, and then select Pin to start.
Mouse:

On the Start screen, click at the lower-left edge to view
installed applications.

Right-click an application, and then select Pin to start.
