menus for local craft access or remote manage-
ment via Telnet, SNMP, or TL1. The Total Access
EMS is available to manage the Total Access
1200 DSLAMs and other Total Access systems
for comprehensive access to provisioning,
performance, and fault management data.

Access 1200 Series was designed to provide a
complete DSL network solution. The Total
Access 3000 Series DSLAM meets the demand
for high- and medium-density areas, and the
unique, span- or local-powered Total Access
1100 Series DSLAM addresses the need for very
low density and remote DSL delivery in pole or
pedestal mounted environments. Whether you

Small and temperature hardened.
The Total Access 1200 DSLAMs measure just 1U x
44 cm x 30 cm, so they will easily fit in existing
Remote Terminals. Equipped with integrated
splitters, the Total Access 1200 Series Mini-
DSLAMs are sized to accommodate typical line
counts and take rates, offering optimum perform-
ance for your investment dollars. With NEBS
Level 3 compliance and a temperature-hardened
design, the Total Access 1200 DSLAMs are a good
fit for the Central Office, Outside Plant, or
Customer Premises applications.
Easy to install.
Standard connectors, standard cables, standard
mountings and standard interfaces. The Total
Access 1200 DSLAMs provide standard E1, IMA,
and Ethernet interfaces toward the network. The
high performance loop interface is T1.413
standard compliant and has been extensively
tested through TR-48 test suites with most
commonly available modems to ensure faultless
operation and cost performance. Front panel
access assures ease of implementation.
Scalable.
The Total Access 1200 Mini-DSLAMs easily scale
from one to four units utilizing a common
network interface. The modular network provides
10/100BaseT Ethernet or a variety of ATM-based
modules to allow migration options that meet the
ever-increasing need for additional bandwidth,
including IMA, DS3, and STM-1 interfaces.
