background!level!as!per!Background!gain!on!the!link!master!device.!When!input!level!
exceeds!Threshold!plus!the!background!level,!the!gate!opens!immediately.!When!input!
level!drops!below!this!threshold,!the!gate!waits!for!Hold!time!to!expire!before!closing.!If!
level!goes!above!the!effective!threshold!before!Hold!time!expires,!the!gate!remains!open!
and!Hold!time!is!reset.!
