Appliances with
temperature control
- The appliance features a separate
temperature control for the refrigeĆ
rator and freezer compartments.
- The factory setting for the refrigerator
and freezer compartments is in the
midĆrange.
Note:
The 5 LEDs indicate the entire
temperature range of the respective
compartment, e.g. refrigerator
compartment from +2 °C to +8 °C.
To change the values:
S Keep pressing the Selection buttons
until the required setting is reached.
The temperature values are displayed
in stages from the warmest (Min) to the
coldest (Max) setting.

S Pull out the mains plug.
Disconnecting
the appliance
If the appliance is not used for a
prolonged period:
S Take all food out of the appliance.
S Cut off the water supply.
S Empty the ice cube container
(see Cleaning the appliance").
S Run off the remaining drinking water.
S Pull out the mains plug.
S Remove the water filter.
Note:
Before switching on the appliance
again, install a new water filter!
S Clean the appliance interior
(see Cleaning the appliance").
To prevent odours, leave the doors
open.
If there is a risk of frost, have a
technician empty the water containĆ
er for the drinking water dispenser
(see installation instructions).
If moving house
Remove all detachable parts and pack
each one carefully. Secure the doors
and flaps with adhesive tape and transĆ
port the appliance in an upright
position.
Functions
Door alarm
If one of the doors is left open, an
alarm signal sounds after one minute
and is repeated every 60 seconds for
5 minutes.
Interior light automatically
switches off
If an appliance door is left open for
longer than 10 minutes, the interior light
automatically switches off to prevent
overheating. This saves energy.
Energy saving mode
One minute after the doors have been
closed and the last button has been
pressed on the operating and display
panel or in the ice and water dispenser,
the display on the control panel
changes to energy saving mode,
with reduced illuminating power.
Once the appliance is being used
again, e.g. if the door is opened or a
button is pressed, the display reverts
to normal illuminating power.
Variable interior
design
You can vary the shelves inside the
appliance and the containers in the
door to suit your requirements.
S Pull the shelf forwards and remove.
S Lift the container and remove.
S Raise the cover slightly on the butter
and cheese compartment, press to
the left and remove.
S Pull drawers forwards, raise slightly
and remove.
