Operating and installation instructions
Pneumatic actuators - FA160-800
- Tighten the new collar nut (pos. 50.14) to the specified torque (refer to the table); it must
be preloaded with the diaphragm flange for this purpose. Steady the stem on the flat.
- Position the upper diaphragm casing on the lower diaphragm casing again; make sure
that the air connection and the vent plug are exactly aligned with one another.
- Tighten the long hexagon bolts (pos. 50.18) to the specified torque (refer to the table) first,
then the short hexagon bolts (pos. 50.15); the bolts should always be tightened
symmetrically.
- The actuator can now be mounted to the valve again (refer to 5.6).

ACHTUNG !
- The springs will only have an optimal contact surface if they are aligned
correctly.
