How long after I apply for the data service until I can use my Telenav GPS app?
With data, you should be able to start using the Telenav GPS application right after it has been downloaded.
How many devices can I install Telenav GPS on with my account?
There is no limit of how many of your devices on which you can install Telenav GPS. To access Telenav GPS on
different devices, simply install the app and then log in with your
my.telenav.com User Name and Password that you are
asked to create the first time you launch Telenav GPS. However, you can only use Telenav GPS’s premium features
(voice-guided, turn-by-turn navigation, automatic reroute when a turn is missed, etc.) on one device at a time.
Why do I get the “GPS Location Settings” prompt when I first launch the application?
You need to turn on the Location settings so your GPS location can be detected, and for features such as navigation to
work within Telenav GPS. You will get a prompt message when you first launch the application with instructions on
where to change the Location settings. You must choose “Exit” and manually change the Location settings.
Does Telenav GPS use up my voice plan minutes?
Telenav GPS uses data to provide its navigation functions. Using data does not use any of your voice minutes.
However, if you call a business from within the Telenav GPS app, you will be incurring voice minutes.
How do I control the backlighting?
The backlight can be controlled from within Telenav GPS’s Extras menu >> Settings >> Backlight menu.
