Attach the 180 fitting to the rail. Do not use thread sealer
on this fitting. Figure 7
Now thread the supplied Aeroquip 180’ fitting onto the d-6
x 1/4 fitting that was just previously installed. (Figure 6)
Thread sealer is also not needed with this fitting.
Using the supplied mounting clamp (Figure 8) install
the accumulator in a convenient location. The black line
should be routed away from any hot surfaces or engine
exhaust pipes. Be certain that no lines are kinked or
restricted.

There are multiple mounting locations available for this application. In the first image we show the
Accumulator mounted on the drivers side next to the brake booster. In the second picture it is mounted
on the passenger side fenderwell. For a more discreet location, you may also mount it on the passenger
side next to your PCM.
