Swivel Ball Floor Mount Installation Instructions
For Part Number’s 2400500040, 2401500040, 2402500040, 2400550040, 2401550040, 2402550040

1. Trace Ring 2 on a separate sheet of paper to use as your template.
The hole in floor needs to be 2 7/8” diameters (2.875).
2. As shown in Figure B make sure one hole of the ring is at 6:00. Drill the three 3/16” (.1875) Holes
3. Slip Ring 1 (Figure A) up over the tube of the steering column with countersunk hole facing the steering
wheel.
4. Slip ball on column with set screw towards driver’s compartment and at 6 o’clock.
5. Slip
Ring 2 on column so numbers touch.
6. Install 3 bolts without nuts.
7. Install column into drop or dash mount.
8. Slide floor mount down until it sits flat against floor and the 3 bolts go thru the pre-drilled holes in the floor.
9. Install Ring 3 on outside with number facing the firewall or floor. Install Nuts.
10. Go to inside of vehicle and tighten set screw in ball. Set screw should face down.
11. Your installation is now complete!!
Note: These floor mounts are made to fit three different column hole
diameters. These diameters are: 1 3/4”, 2” and 2 1/4”. There are also
specific oversized mounts for chrome and black powder coated columns.
