NOTE: If you are using the duplexer to print on both sides of the paper, the
minimum top and bottom margins must match or exceed 12 mm (0.47 inch).
NOTE: For Mac OS X, the minimum bottom margin for all the media (except
envelope, Hagaki, and Ofuku Hagaki) is 12 mm (0.47 inch).
Load media
This section provides instructions for loading media into the device.
NOTE: Tray 2 is sold as an accessory. For ordering information, see Accessories .
To load Tray 1 (main tray)
1. Lift the output tray.
2. Slide the media guides out to the widest setting.
3. Insert the media print-side down in the center of the tray, make sure the media
does not exceed the line marking in the tray. Slide the media guides towards the
center until they touch the left and right sides of the media, and then gently push
the paper stack to the back of the tray.
NOTE: Do not load paper while the device is printing.
