CONREP command-line syntax
conrep [-s | -l] [-xhardware_definition_file] [-fsystem_configuration_file] [-?]
CONREP command line arguments
Description Command-line argument
This argument saves the system configuration to a file. -s
This argument loads the system configuration from a file
and writes it to the target server. -l
This argument defines the name and location of the XML
hardware definition file. The default file is conrep.xml. -xfilename
This argument defines the name and location of the system
configuration data file. The default file is conrep.dat. -ffilename
This argument displays help information. -?
CONREP return codes
Meaning Value
The command was completed successfully. 0
The hardware definition data file (conrep.xml) is corrupt
or not found. 1
The system configuration data file (conrep.dat) is corrupt
or not found. 2
The system administrator password is set. The settings
cannot be changed unless this password is cleared. 4
The XML hardware definition file (conrep.xml) is corrupt
or not appropriate for the current platform. 5
