The LSM service was not running when Recovery Groups were configured in HP Insight
Recovery. —
— The logical server was being actively managed when the HP Insight Recovery
configuration was invoked (logical server modification, logical server activation, or
logical server deactivation was in progress).
• No configuration operation can be run Possible causes include:
— A Change local site to Primary Site or Change local site to Recovery Site operation
is in progress.
— Another configuration operation may be in progress
• Unable to import Storage Management Servers as part of import operation Possible causes
include:
— The Storage Management Server was not discovered in the Insight Dynamics user
interface.
— The credentials associated with the Storage Management Server do not include the user
name specified in the HP Insight Recovery configuration at the Primary Site.
— The Insight Dynamics user interface is unable to communicate with the Storage
Management Server specified in the HP Insight Recovery configuration at the Primary
Site.
• Import operation failed Possible causes include:
— The import file is not valid.
— The HP Logical Server Automation service is not running.
— There were recovery logical servers in an active state at the time of the import.
Cannot verify the host name specified. Error message
The hostname specified for the CMS for either the local or the remote site is not locatable in the
DNS. Cause
Verify that a valid DNS entry with a fully qualified domain name exists for each CMS. Action
Cannot create/edit the site information. Error message
The hostname specified for the CMS does not include a fully qualified domain name associated
with the local CMS. Cause
Ensure that the CMS for the local site has the fully qualified domain of the local host. Action
Storage Management Server not discovered by CMS. Discover server and
retry. Error message
Each Storage Management Server to be configured in HP Insight Recovery must be discovered
in the Insight Dynamics user interface with appropriate credentials specified. Cause
Ensure that the Storage Management Server is discovered in the Insight Dynamics user interface.
If not, discover the server using Options->Discovery in the Insight Dynamics user interface. Action
Error: Invalid storage manager username and/or domain name. Error message
The sign-in credentials for the server stored in the Insight Dynamics user interface do not include
the user name specified as part of the Storage Management Server configuration operation in HP
Insight Recovery. Cause
For the server specified, ensure that the sign-in credentials stored in the Insight Dynamics user
interface include the credentials for the user name specified. Action
