Using the teletext (Viewing
Teletext)
Many Digital TV programmes broadcast information
via their text service, and this recorder has access
to dedicated text programmes transmitted by the
broadcasters.
1. Press TEXT while watching TV.
2. Use coloured (R/G/Y/B) button to select a page.
You can also select a page by entering a three
digit number with the numerical buttons.
3. Press TEXT or EXIT to exit the teletext screen.
Additionally, you now have four coloured
buttons to navigate through the content of
the page. The use of these coloured buttons
will be displayed on the screen.

Note
Recording TV
programmes
You can record Digital TV programmes and store
them on the HDD.
Normal Recording
1. Use CH (W/S) to select a programme you
want to record.
2. Press X REC to start recording.
Press M to pause recording, press M again to
resume recording.
3. Press Z to stop recording.
y The TV screen turns black with stop mark
caused by no signal, Scramble, rating lock
recording is not available.
y Pay channel can not be recorded correctly if
you don’t insert CI or CI+ CAM.
y You should unlock parental rating of CI CAM
if you want to use timer record correctly.
y When you record pay channel, recorded title
can be divided in to several titles according
to CAM authentication.
y Some of title can not be played well if title is
recorded when CAM is not authenticated by
this recorder.
y If you want to record the USB HDD, Connect
an USB HDD to the USB Port on the rear
panel and then select the [USB HDD] on
[Default Recording Device] in the setup
menu.
y You can not record two scrambled
programme at the same time.
