Viewing Notifications of Received Messages
When you receive a message, your device notifies you by displaying an icon
within the notification area of the Status Bar at the top left of your Home
screen.

indicates new text or MMS messages were received.
1. Press > >
Notifications.
– or –
Touch and drag the Status Bar to the bottom of the screen.
2. Tap a message entry to open the Messaging application.
Deleting Old Text Messages
Delete messages or message threads you have read whenever you like, or have
your device delete them automatically for you. A thread is a series of text
conversations between two people. Deleting a thread will delete the sent and
received messages in the conversation.
To delete a specific message thread:
1. Press > >
Messaging.
2. Tap a thread to view the contents of that thread.
3. Press >
More > Delete thread.
