Always make sure the loaded paper matches the type of paper in the printer paper settings. Adjustment cannot be
completed correctly unless the loaded paper matches the settings.

The loaded paper is too small.
(When you have attempted to print a test print sheet
or other printer status information.) Replace the paper with paper of A4/Letter (vertical) size or larger as follows.
1. Press ▲ or ▼ to select Change Paper, press the OK button, and remove the paper.

Take steps to remedy faint printing.

Direct sunlight or strong lighting may be shining on the
printer and causing the sensor to malfunction. Press the OK button to clear the error.
Take steps to ensure the printer is not used when exposed to direct sunlight or
strong lighting.
